evaluation question four
This is feedback I received for my music video I used the feedback to reflect on what I could have done to make the video better
- Add some establishing shots so the audience know where the scene is being set rather than just limit the frame to the artists face
- Some of the shots could be re-shot with better lighting as they were quite dark
I believe I used the feedback we got for the rough cut very well as we improved our video a lot based on it.
My ancillary work received more compliments than criticism but I did receive some help from my teachers. They did remind me that I had left out some important features like: the codes and the copyright logo.

Ancillary in process 1
This is the cover of my album. It is not completely finished and has a few finishing touches that need to be added. I have decided to add the roses to my cover. This was an idea that I was contemplating on as I though it wouldn't look good however my peers have told me it works well with the black and white theme I have. I have had to change the name of my album to match the pictures of the roses.

Advert ideas
I took these pictures of posters in a train station. This is how I would advertise my posters as my target audience would see the advert all the time just like I do. I think it is effective as when passengers are moving slowly in the station due to congestion it gives them something to look at.

Costume for Ancillary
In our music video our artist wears clothing that is black and white only. Therefore we have decided to carry this theme on with the Ancillary work. Our main option is to make her wear white blouses so we have can have a black background. Many soul artists wear simple clothing in their album covers like Beyonce or Emeli sande so we will also do this.

Photo shoot pictures (post pics)
I used the picture of Shardonnay looking straight at the camera for my front panel and the picture of Shardonnay sitting down in my inside panel. I wanted to use the picture of shardonnay looking away from the camera but I found it difficult to cut the picture around her hair.

Learning to use Photoshop
I found that spending one lesson learning how to use Photoshop was not enough for me and I needed to learn outside of lesson time as I was very confused and still didn't know how to use the tools on the software properly. Like any normal teenager I went onto YouTube and watched tons of tutorial videos which helped me understand how to use some of the tools better.
Here are the links to some of the videos I watched which I found to be useful. From these videos I got an idea of how to change colours, how to remove backgrounds and other useful facts.

Panning Ancillary
I have spoken about this is my research blogs but this is a short list of my mise-en-scene
- Black and white possibly grey colour scheme
- Thin, Simplistic font
- mid shot of my artist in the front with her name and her album name on top.
- The ideas of having roses scattered around (Maybe)
- The inside panels will have a image of her looking away from the camera whereas on the cover it will have an image of her looking directly a the camera as she is a new artist and needs to be easily recognised.
- The CD will be black with recognition of the Record Label company and the copy right
- The advertisement will have the same theme so the audience can make link backs to the album cover but a different image may be used
- The dates of the concert and the release of the album will be bold and easily visible
